  • City writes to the Post Master General requesting the Post Office be moved to a more central location  between Abbott and Carrall Streets “before the rainy season sets in”.
  • Two new by-laws passed to authorize further borrowing:
    • to authorize the issue of $6,900 in Debentures in payment of the price of a steam fire engine, hose and hose reels, and
    • to authorize the issue of Debentures of $14,100 for construction of fire hall, hooks and ladders, fire bell,  etc.
